Hi lovelies, I hope you are having a fantastic week so far. Another installment in my Bedroom Makeover series, and this one I'm particularly exited about. My parents were kind enough to buy me a new dresser (in agreement that this was the last piece of furniture they were to ever buy me before I move out), and I absolutely love it. I choose a dresser from Freedom Furniture in a light wood, and it finally fits all my folded clothes! I've tried a minimalist approach towards what I keep on it, so there isn't as much as my previous What's On My Dresser post. I much prefer having less though - I feel it looks tidier and more mature. Hi all! As promised, another "What's on my (Friend's) Face" post today - these seem to be so popular with you all, and I absolutely love doing them. Last month I did my friend Bridget's makeup, to see that click HERE.

This month I did one of my best friend's Nathalie's makeup - she is absolutely gorgeous, and her eye lashes are so god damn long and thick! Since last month's makeup was a little lighter and more natural, I decided to go a bit crazy with Nat's makeup (and she was very willing to as well!). I love how it turned out - the bronze smokey eye and the bright orange lips look amazing, especially on her. 

I decided to do a really shimmery smokey bronze eye look - it looked amazing on her eyes, and she pulled it off so well! I kept it pretty smokey and "messy" - I made sure there were no clean crisp lines, and everything was blended out nicely, The key when doing a eye makeup look like this is to layer and blend, layer and blend. I focused most of the darkness on her outer v and her lash line, and also put quite a bit on her lower lash line to balance the heaviness on the top. 

I was originally going to do a nude lipstick since the eye makeup was heavy and smokey - however Nat insisted on this orange lipstick and after much hesitation, I actually love it! It looks amazing on her, and goes well with all the bronze on the eyes.

Hi all, I hope you are having a fantastic week so far. One of my earliest (and most popular) blog posts was a "What's in my Makeup Bag", and since then I have bought and tested a lot more products, so what's in my makeup bag is now very different. 

I hope you enjoy taking a peek in my makeup bag and seeing what I've been loving recently. Hi all! Hope you are having a fantastic week. A month or two ago I did my cousin's makeup, and all of you seemed to really enjoy it. I think it's refreshing to see makeup on a variety of different faces, not just mine, so I've decided to make this an ongoing monthly series - each month I will (try to - no promises) do a friend's makeup and photograph it for you! 

A few days ago I did my beautiful friend Bridget's makeup- she is absolutely stunning (and very funny too!), and I really wanted to focus on her gorgeous green eyes. She is one of my bestest friends so you may see her, and other friends of mine in the near future. The products used will be listed towards the end.

I decided to focus on her gorgeous green eyes, and after much research I learnt that purple/taupe eye shadows suit her eye colour. I used mac satin taupe (a shimmery taupe with purple undertones) all over the lid and blended in some darker, neutral (yet slightly purple) eye shadows into the outer V. I kept her skin really fresh and light, because let's be honest - who needs foundation if you've got skin like her!

Hi all, I hope you are having a fantastic week so far! Some of you may already know that I have been doing quite a bit of traveling recently. Hi lovelies! I hope you are all having a fantastic week. My gorgeous cousin Martha came over to stay from England, and I was so exited to see her! 

She is such a sweetheart, plus she's absolutely stunning an soooo photogenic (jealous!), and I love doing her make up. I thought I would show you the simple makeup look I did on her, and also introduce you to one of my favorite people in the world! 

I kept every thing pretty neutral and simple, and I think this would be a perfect makeup look for every day (work, uni, school, etc...), or you could swap the nude lipstick for a deep red lipstick, or add winged eyeliner, and it would be perfect for a night out.

Hi lovelies! I hope you have all had a fantastic week. Today's post I am super exited about, I am sharing with you my everyday makeup. 

This is what I wear on a daily basis; for school, on weekends, or just popping out of the house for a wee while. I don't wear any foundation or fancy eye shadow, as I feel like it just isn't necessary (plus, I love keeping my shimmery eye shadows and liquid liner for getting more dressed up). 

This is super simple and easy to recreate - all I have done is just made a better more enhanced, fresher version of me (who doesn't look like she's had 2 hours of sleep).

For my everyday makeup, I mainly focus on my brows and lashes, and like to change up my blusher frequently. I keep everything else very simple, pretty, and just natural. 

I wear a nude shade all over my lid, which literally is just a flesh toned matte shade. I then wear a little pencil liner blended into my lash line, and add a little white in the inner corners of my eyes, if I am looking especially tired.

My 'Every Day Makeup' products are:

Mabyelline Fit Me Concealer in light
Elf Eyebrow Kit in medium
Clinique Blusher in bashful plum
Clinique Eye Shadow in french vanilla (all over lid) - eye shadow on far left

Rimmel Soft Kohl Eye Liner in black (blended into lower and upper lash line)

Australias Eyeliner in white (in inner corners of eyes)

Maybelline The Falsies Mascara

I wasn't wearing any lip stick/gloss in the picture, just Burts Bees Beeswax Lip Balm. However when I do put lip product on, it is either my Revlon Lip Butter in peach parfait, NYX Butter Gloss in tiramisu, or Maybelline Baby Lips in cherry crush.

What's in my makeup bag?

Hi all! I hope you are having a fantastic week, and start to the new year! For today's blog post, you all will get to see what's in my makeup bag, which I'm very exited about! Before I get started, I just want to say a thank you for all the love and support you guys have been giving me, it truly does warm my heart! I'm not going to go into too much detail about each product, as a lot of them will appear in my future "Monthly Favorites" posts. Without further ado, I will show you all whats in my makeup bag!

My mum bought me this makeup bag when she was in Japan, I absolutely love how it's padded and square, and it has good structure to it. It is a reasonable size, which I like, and plus I love Hello Kitty!

• For foundation I use Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation in soft beige. I don't use a foundation on a daily basis, but when I do want a little more coverage, this is what I use.

• For concealer I use the Maybelline Coverstick Concealer in light beige, which is slightly too light for me right now, but I'm trying to use it up. It's not my favorite concealer, so I probably won't repurchase it again. If you know any great concealers you love, please let me know in the comments, I'm on the hunt for one! 

• For powder I use the Revlon Colorstay Pressed Powder in translucent, to set my concealer/foundation. I highly recommend this powder, it's one of the best ones I've used.

I don't keep bronzer in my makeup bag, but I do keep only one blusher, since some of my lip products I use on the cheeks as well. This blusher is by Clinique, and it's in the shade bashful plum. This color is absolutely stunning for people with reasonably fair skin like me, and gives a natural flush to the cheeks.

For the eyes I keep (left to right):

• Urban Decay Eye Shadow Primer Potion
• Maybelline Color Tattoo in No. 25 Bad To The Bronze
• Mac Eye Shadow Palette with eye shadows jest and satin taupe
• Maybelline Gel Liner in blackest black
• Max Factor Eye Brow Pencil in No. 1 ebony
• Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Line Pencil in No. 160 jet black
• Australis Eye Liner Pencil in white
• Maybelline The Falsies Volume Express Mascara
• Manicare eyelash curler

I also keep my Urban Decay Naked 1 palette next to my makeup bag at all times.

For lip products I have (from right to left): 

• Maybelline Baby Lips in berry crush
• Clinique Chubby Stick in No. 05 chunky cherry (I also use this as a cheek tint)
• Clinique Super Balm in No. 01 apricot
• Revlon Lip Butter in No. 25 peach parfait
• Rimmel Vinyl Max Lip Bloss (don't know color)
• Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer in No. 101 celestial
